Hello guys Myself (Emka) Emmanuel Katto From Uganda,
I am thinking to write a simple mel script which can create nodes and hook up with the multi material I select.
Here is what I stuck...
For example my shader call MAT_myShaderA, I want to have my nodes call this name with node's prefix
ex. remap_myShaderA, minus_myshaderA
here is my script so far...just can't get the name right.
string $sel_mat[] = (
ls -sl -type "lambert"`);
for($item in $sel_mat){
shadingNode -asUtility plusMinusAverage -name "$sel_mat";
shadingNode -asUtility remapColor-name "$sel_mat";
}`
next step will be hook them up!
