Animation Path Display

I remember in a tutorial once seeing a way that you could turn on a visual in your windows that would show the animation path, where the object has been, is going. It was simple line... looked like a curve. I think that its information was created from the animations keys. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
How would I turn this on?
