Arranging Image Grid To Cubes(in rows and Columns)

Hai,
Im about to write a MEL SCript for
arranging Cubes in Rows and Columns.
and display an image on the Cubes. Like each cube

contains a certain part of the Image.
so that the image will appear as it scattered into cube.

Im following the procedure that..
apply Projections to each cube and arrange the image

grid..

Is there any Easy way than this.. or anybody developed

it preveously.

Here, Im uploading an image(developed in photo shop)

that the final output should be like this.
each block of the grid should be a cube.

Yes rendertime image projections combined with texture reference objects (in case you want to animate them),

Or simply make a buvbe stack select teh facing faces of each cube and alpply a planer uv map. Assign texture to material.

In any case this is quite trivial stuff i can think of about 10 ways of the head that take less then 2 minutes to implement this with no scriptin at all. To script thus only echo all and copypaste.

I missed the point that number of faces can have the same projection.
any way..
I already developed a script.. that can set animation for movement, roteate,..
Im uploading it.
please give me sugestions to improve the scripting ability.

The best script ever is the scrpit you dont need to write. The worst script is the one you wirte but need not wirte.*

So write whan writing makes a difference.

*this is called forcing, you nee dto be able to detect when your forcing a solution just beacsue you think your attack is the best one. It need not be the best. The reason forcing is bad is that you dont learn any new tricks while forcimg hence you get worse as time goes by.
