My current scene is having major problems rendering in XSI so I have been trying to start a batch render with the following
xsi -r -scene "G:pathscene.scn" -pass "default\_pass" -output i:outputpath"

Now this works fine except that it only renders one image. What is the proper syntax to specify frames to be rendered. If i add in -startf and -endf after default\_pass it gives me the error "unknown command"
I have my scene saved with all settings etc. I just need the basic command from prompt to start the whole things from start to finish.

Thanks in advance

try this:

xsibatch -r -scene c:myprojectScenesmyscene.scn -pass My\_Pass -startframe 1 -endframe 100 -step 1 -continue

xsibatch is nice because it doesn't open another dos shell after you execute the command. this allows you
to telnet to other machines and start renders (as with soft -R). the -continue option tells xsibatch to quit that
render when it is finished and move to the next line in your .bat file.
