Batch Render Problem (8)

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum. I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to. I've created an animation in Maya but I cannot batch render. I keep getting the error message: Cannot find an available port.
I have turned off my Windows firewall. It seems that I just need to manually set the render port number. How can I do this? Or do I have a different problem?

It would be great if someone knows the answer to this predicament. Thanks.

Are you trying to batch render on one workstation or are you inadvertetently trying to render on a render farm you might not have?

Wouldnt know otherwise why you would get a error message on a port.

No, I've Maya set to render to one CPU.

Hello friend, you checkers if the project is saved in the correct folder? Make sure that the Render settings, one of the first sentences in the window is the path. If not go to file / project / set to define the information from where the images will be saved from his surrender, the folder being set for the project, change the module of Maya for Rendering / render / batch rendering.

I think with this you managed to solve their problems.

Thanks for the response, but still no luck. This is driving me crazy. Any other ideas from the Maya experts?

Hi, please try to export your entire file  & sad it with a proper name. after that close your maya application & restart maya. open your export stuff in this maya then set your project directory.save your file & render it. Also make sure you have enough space in your drive. Your temp folder is empty.

I've encountered that problem before myself. It was a few years ago. It did have something to do with the firewall. You may have to tell windows to allow Maya to connect to the internet. I believe that was the solution for me. Good luck

Alright. How do I go about doing that? You see, I don't have a wireless connection, and I MIGHT have said for Maya to not connect to the internet.
