Bonus tools don't work in 2009 with Windows 7?

I get an error that says: Module path is Empty. Unable to set up registry details to configure Bonus tools.

  Anyone else seen this problem? Granted it's beta software but most everything I throw at it works in Windows 7 I sorta figured this would too. :-(

I am running into the same issue. I am trying to install BonusTools 2008 for Maya 2008 on Vista 64bit. Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

ok here how i solved the issue.
in windows 7, take the msi installer in compatibility mode, and install the bonustools to another directory other than the program files. for example c:/bonustools2009x64
then in your maya.env file add the path to the plugins folder
