Select the camera's interest. If you can't locate it easily, try Camera/Select Interest or you can find it above the camera in the schematic view. Use Camera/Show Camera to see the camera...except in the camera view of course.
Constrain it to an object with Constraint/Postion. The camera should now point to the object's center.
If you are having problems with the camera flipping upside down (gimble lock), you can constrain the roll of the camera by constraining it to a null object. Just place null object above the camera, select the camera and use Constraints/UpVector. To observe the effect, move the null around to see how it effects the roll of the camera.
