Can I Have Achange On The Edit Button!?!?!

Damn it happens every now and then sometimes i catch it before its too late sometimes I DONT.

thing sometimes you mistakenly it edit instad of the reply button. Now its not so bad if its your own post but sometimes it happens to other peoples posts. Now because i use quoted posts the ONLY two viasual feedbacks are text containbs no quote and the reply button is edit.

Now there is usualy not enough visual clue to whats going on.... And i d rather not edit other users posts by accident. So could the edit screen have a different background color whan editting other peoples posts?

Or is there a way to dig what it was? after my cache got flushed. Delete of therads or posts is so hard that you dont usualy do that by mistake... altough merging threads seem to work the opposite way around from what i thought initialy.

I mean it happens in a hurry, and has heppened lately too much.

im really not getting what you are saying. You are saying the "edit" button that is red, is not distinctive enough from the blue buttons? or are you talking about in a different area?

ps, we are still redoing a new skin with tons of forum bug fixes.

The fact is not about what happens when i press it. Imaginde i was aiming for reply but mistakenly pushed edit instead. Now your mind is not aware of the difference at this point.

But se the window that appears look exactly like the reply window (there are only very minor clues). Now the brain does not notice your mainly on automation on thispoint anyway so if you have quote on youd end deleting the message anyway. Then you start tyyping and hit the submit button and bam.... You have editted the users post by mistake. And theres no way to undo this.

So the visual clue is too small AFTER youve pressed the button. So could the bar whare it reads enter post be red or something!

Are you refering to the colour of the buttons for "delete, edit, quote, reply"? If so then I see the "delete" and "edit" buttons for the forum as red and the other two as blue. I haven't experienced what you have but understand what you're asking. It may be better to just space the moderator buttons further apart though I also believe the current colour theme does work well.
