I managed to hook my VCR up to my computer to capture some footage of a film Im making, and while it is being played it is displayed as the following link shows. Even when make a file out of it in Studio DC10 it still has those annoying blue lines and dots. The tape itself is fine, works like a gem, just these lines occur in capturing and permanently stuff up the captured footage. Is it a case of a video codec problem?

You can get rid of this if you want. LOL....I found out what I was doing wrong. I had it on the wrong video standard, SECAM instead of Pal or Ntsc!Cheers
haha yea I was about to say either your sync was off , or WAY out of pahse, or your imput/output settings were wrong on one end or another.if you got the worng video set, guess thaqts pretty much all of the above eh?
