Hello, I am using Shake 3.5 on Linux. When I want to import something, I have to go and export it as an image sequence (usually .sgi) if it is not in that form already, as Shake on Linux won't let me import a movie file. Currently, I do this on a Windows machine with Adobe After Effects. I would like to not have to do this, and instead do the conversion right on my Linux workstation. Does anyone know of some sort of Linux tool that will let me convert an uncompressed DV file to, say, an SGI sequence, and vice versa? I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find much by searching.
