working on a list of positives to get my maya 2009 upgraded to maya 2013.
would you say maya 2013's mental ray would produce noticeably faster renders than maya 2009 if the exact same scene were rendered in both?
or have the render speeds not necessarily changed much?
i have to produce a lot of high resolution renders for print, and these tend to be rather time-consuming.
if anyone knows, what other or any advantages/positives would there be to jump from 2009 to 2013?
