Drool?

I am looking for simple ways to add saliva/drool to a mouth. I really stink at the whole texturing thing but i am getting a little better. So any ideas to make this work?

I have used cloth succesfully for stringy saliva within a creatures mouth...really depends on the look you are after and what is actually needs to do though...
