Ok, so I got a glorious combination of a scriptNode and a scriptJob working together to make a seamless switch from ik to fk and vice versa. where the controls match up without popping/ And all I have to do to make it switch is changing the attrbute to switch kinetics mode.
Only, when I list all my scriptjobs, i saw the test scriptjob I made to try it out in another maya file in the scriptjob list of my rig file,
Now, are scriptJobs translating accross workstations, or do I need another scriptNode which executes upon opening the file, and not finding the scriptnodes, to then addin the scriptjobs on a new workstation?
