Recommended system for maya 4.0

I'm setting up a new system specifically to run maya 4.0 -- and am wondering about the differences between wildcat graphics cards, and the nvidia quadro cards

also am considering a switch from OS NT 4 to Win 2000 or XP...are there significant differences / performance issues?

I expect to purchase a dell 530 workstation

any info would be greatly appreciated

If money is no object and stability is key, go with Wildcat cards and Windows 2000. If you're looking for a more flexible, affordable system, go with XP Professional and Quadro cards. Dude, you're getting a workstation
