Something that has been driving me crazy is "Freezng" transformations (Scale,Rotate and Translate).

In Soft 3D, you simply selected Effect Freeze and that was it. In XSI there is a big button that says Freeze, but this doesn't seem to do it, why?

(1) The Freeze Button is for freezing the operator stack only. This is a history of your deformations, such as moving tagged points, or using push etc.
(2) To freeze the transformations you select Transform/Freeze All Transforms (rigth side of interface). Then you will see the transforms go to default values as expected.

This was bugging me, and I figure others may of had a similar problem. However, I have to admit it works quite well and I should have looked harder.
