I don't think our president should have an arrogant self-rightous personality. Centainly I think he is a decent man, not an evil man at all. He probably , in his own way, has a good heart and thinks what he does is correct and just. Just like the spanish inquisition and the Salem witch trials, they thought they were doing good works in their own way at the time.
However, he is ment to represent all of america.
The current president has too many personal beliefs, that he, with or without knowing it, imposes on the rest of america. Thats how I see him, thats how he comes across.
What I liked about John Kerry, sure he has strong personal views, but he also beleives it is not his right to impose them on others. (Though, I am not thrilled about more than a few of his policys. I'd love to know who his cabinet memebers would be)
I don't get that feeling from Bush, I get a feeling that he is never wrong , that there can be no other point of view and if there is you are wrong for having it and if he can he'll make the choice for you.
Thats why I'm not voting for him, that and the rest. But the rest is really just the outcome of an arrogant self-rightous attitude. Too many americans have that sort of self delusion already, which is why Bush has so much support perhaps.
Its been a failed presidency, history will show us that down the road I'm sure of it. Its not what he has done is much as how he's gone about it.
