stands up for what he believes in
Yes even if it means defacing the nation.. it's also admireable to know when to stand down and admit to being wrong. There is nothign heroic about having a chip on one's shoulder.
has morals
Even though his rhetoric would lead one to beleive that slasher movies and other violence in the entertainment industry is causing a decline in morals he was involved with a company that made such movies.
What exactly are Dubya's morals? How about a politician who has the morals to not invade country without provocation and allows the armed forces to torture and kill civilians? Thou shalt not kill. But since W's hand was not on the weapon then he's not repsonsible.
isn't a coward
Bush is a coward.. ducked out of service when he was in the national guard.
gives the people a tax break
This is only good if the result of doing so does not cause financial ruin down the road. If you give tax breaks and then spend a trillion dollars fighting a war and then rebuilding that country.. it's questionable as to how beneficial those tax breaks were.
There may have been jobs created by spending all that money on defense contractors but it is only a short term fix with gruesome sideeffects.
If people realised how much the war was costing them I think they'd be alot less tolerant of it lingering.. it has only gotten worse since it was declared over.
has ties to the mafia
Or has ties to the Saudi's.
always changing his stance on things
This is not new in politics .. I suppose going down with the ship is a better moto except Bush will never be held accountable.. if he was impeached he could just resign and for anything else Cheney would pardon him.

has a criminal history
So does Dubya
is a corrupt polititian
Are you talking about Bush or Kerry?
At any rate it's at the most the pot calling the kettle black and Bush is more corrupt.
Corporate corruption and the Bush administration

Even if he isn't smart, I'd rather have him than someone who's slimey and sneaky.
He is slimey and sneaky. He lied about the "proof they had that Iraq had WMD's" and has been very secretive and his past dealings as a business man which are no less than questionable.
Aside from Bush's acts against environmental issues (which is too bad he did that) and raised gas prices, what exactly has Bush done to make everyone's lives miserable?
To think like this is to ignore the bigger picture.. alot can happen and our daily lives do not change.. that is unless you lose your job and cannot find a new one and that has happened to alot of people.. probably people you don't know... but they must be happy cause they can say they are on vacation like the president.
George at best has fumbled for short term quick fixes to make it look like he's doing something but more often than not the critics would say he is taking credit for upward flucuations in the economy... the long range view however is not good.

If we didn't go to war, people would've critizized him for being a pussy. Then when another terrorist act happens, people would want to hang him for not doing something to prevent it.
They should hang him for letting it happen in the first place or at least some of his appointed underlings.. Where was Bush? He was on vacation... he's far from the hardest working president we've ever had... in fact he's probably the laziest.
Vietnam was "unwinnable" do you really think that Iraq is any different? The more aggression the US exerts into the middle east the more it will receive back. There is nothing wrong with taking a defensive stance but the problem is that this whole mess got started because Bush's administration ignored warnings that something was going on .. then let the family members of the guy responsible leave the country.. then waited months before sending a small force ( in comparison to Iraq ) into Afghanistan to catch the guy who to this day is still out there.
