Hi

I'm having the hardest time to find some good Fluids tutorials for MaYa 4.5 Unlimited, if thats what I need. What i'm trying to do is a big cube (Room) and a small cube in the middle of the (Room), I need some nice clear water to be inside the (Room) but only half way on the little cube, but not inside the little cube, so the little cube is only half submerged.

I'm really having a hard time to figure it out.

Thank you in advanced

First off I asume you have an understanding of fluids ? The basics?
Then, heres what you should try. Get the Flame Example from either your Library or from the AW website through maya. Take a look at how they put it together, or alter it to your needs.

I think because Fluids are relatively new and are only included with the Unlimited package that you will not find too many tutorials if any at all avaiable for free. COnsider getting some of the learnign materials avaiable from AW.

Basically the Fluids node has several hundred parameters and the presets are a good way to get familiar with what can be done. Just open the viosr an dimport som eof the samples and play around with them.
