Help! Shake Script Suddenly Blank

Hi, I hope that someone can help, I have just finished a comp and tried to render the fileout node, but it didn't work. Just no response. So I thought I'd re-start shake and re-load the when the script loaded it was blank!!

I have tried loading up on another computer but is the same and copy and pasting the script in textedit in to a new doc didn't work either. Adding the script into a new shake doc also didn't work

looks to me like your keylight and primatte nodes got messed up and broke the tree... you could try to replace them with default values in a text editor but keep all the node names.

sometimes fixing stuff like this is quite a bit of work and unless you post the full script it's hard to give any sound advice.

I've recently had this problem as well. It was because of end of line changes in the text file. I have no idea what causes it , but here's how we fixed it.

Make a copy of the Shake script in question. Download an application called 0xED and open your script copy in there. On the right is your text, on the left is the Hex equivalent. You'll see that your script begins with // and so will the next line. Find the second time // shows up and then select the character just before them (for me it was a period).

On the left side, you'll see two characters highlighted that are the Hex equivalent. In my case, it was "0D". Execute a Find for all 0D and replace all with 0A. Save the changes and close your file.

Try reopening the script in Shake.

Do this to a copy of your script in case this isn't what you need.
