I have shot a 3 minute stop-motion film, and I am about to start putting it together. The film was shot with a 6 megapixel camera, with long exposures, from one camera angle (It is, essentially, one long, stationary shot). Here is my problem: almost every single frame has a change in exposure and colour-temperature ranging from slight to noticeable. I am wondering if there is some way I can smooth the flicker out with Shake, or Final Cut (the de-flicker filter was of no use at all) without colour correcting thousands of frames individually. I am a newcomer to digital editing and effects and would appreciate the help of someone more experienced.

Thanks,

the deflicker filter in fcp only deals with interlaced scanlines that are disturbing (that's why it's a suboption on deinterlace)..

there have been several discussions for doing this in shake in this forum, most of them suggest using the pixel analyzer and linking a color corrector with an expression linked to it.

As soon as I read the words "Pixel Analyzer", I was able to find the answer in the Manual (II pg241-242). Thanks!! Works like a dream!! ![](http://www.highend3d.com/boards/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif)
