Hi,
I'm using the Height Field utility with displacement maps to see what my displacement would look like before rendering. It works with 2D Textures but not 3D Textures. Am I missing something?
Is there something else I need to do to get this to work with 3D Textures? Or if this doesn't work, why doesn't it work?
I can't seem to find any documentation stating one way or the other except in the Maya Help stating "It can only display Surface textures or the Ocean Shader. As far as I knew, 3D Textures were Surface textures.
