I want to import a background 2D image (like a sky) and have it included behind the rendered objects in each frame of my animation. I've tried rotoscope procedure but it excludes the imported image with the render.
Any suggestions?

thanks

You can put the 2d Background shader into your pass and assign the image(s) to that shader. But I'd use the FX tree to composite it instead. (You'll have more control over the final results.)
