How Do I Make A Playplast

I am using the Maya Learning addition and I'm having trouble generating a proper playblast. Please help me anybody!

...Oh and I'm using a mac if that makes a difference.

what is the problem exactly?

when I hit playblast it only renders 1 frame for the entire time line. EX(if the animation is 30 seconds long it only shows the first frame for thirty seconds)

are you playblasting to frames or to a movie? Have you installed current drivers for your display card?

um.. i'm not sure what you mean? I'm new to maya I've bin using lightwave.

Oh (just realized what you meant) I'm trying to make a movie.

choose image viewer instead of movie viewer

didn't work. It just made 150 copies of the same frame.

Jut out of curiosity what have you animated. i mean it might be some of your dg flow is stuck because youve mis used it, or jut plain forgot to0 set a key.
