Texturing Uv Repeat

Hy,

I have created a texture of a porthole for my ships with paintshop. The ships should have a different
number of these portholes. I can control the number of portholes by changing the uv repeat
value. But when I change this value to archieve more portholes on the ship, the size of the
portholes will be smaller. So my question is: How can I change the number of portholes without changing
the size of the portholes? I do not want to create more textures with photoshop.
Can anybodey help me??

Grow the image size.

Anyway theres some wacky thinking here if i have a X that paints 2/3 of asurface nmaking2 xses wont fit the surface? Anway what on eart did you guys expect to happen.

This is the sort fo thing you cant get a solution for because it works ffine in the abstraction of your head but not in reality.
