Hey all, this is the environment for a short film I'm doing. I've never lit anything nearly this expansive before so I thought I'd post it up for C&Cs.
I have a demo of the lighting method in the making of -> featurettes section at www.pigeonimpossible.com
Those renders were done in Maya but now everything is in XSI. The only difference is that I've replaced the FG pass with an ambient occlusion and a regular ambient pass.
Here is an overview of the scene to be lit (mostly stand-in geometry) There are also a lot more elements like trees, signs, etc. that have been hidden for now.
