I'm not exactly sure what this is called, but I'm trying to create the kind of outdoor environment that you see in a lot in race type games. Its where things in the foreground that are close to the camera whizz past very quickly, then things a little further back move more slowly and big things off in the distance like buildings or mountains move even more slowly. There must be a technique for creating this kind of effect so if anyone could point me towards a tutorial or example, that would be greatly appreciated!
