Makeing A Still

Hi,

How do you actually make a still frame in shake anyway?
Is there some internal solution instead of importing one file from sequence?

Not sure if I understand u, but u could always render a (deinterlaced) single frame.

If u wanna work with a single frame u could use the TimeX-node and keyframe the desired frame over the timerange, or adjust the timingpreferences in the file-in

FileOut node, switch your file format accordingly (Jpeg, Tiff) in your parameters. Instead of putting in a timeframe to render (frame 1-100) just type in the single frame you want rendered (eg. frame 50)

Or you could render it out as a Tiff/Jpeg/TGA image sequence if you wanted to and chose whatever frame you want
