Mice ergonomics

You could be right. I do NOT have a life. I spend 8 hours a day at work on my computer there. I get home and spend about 8 hours on that as well. I'm a junkie, hooked on smack and my drug of choice is my computer!

I got the glove yesterday and i like it so far. Although wielding a mouse feels very different now. There is a large packet of small plastic beads in the palm of the glove, thus elevating the palm and wrist on the hand. There is also a thin metal sheet running from the middle of the back of the hand to just beyond the wrist.

Once i have had more time with it i will post my findings.

Allright. I thought if my hands are screwed up I'll buy a pedal. There are 2 main contenders:

I bought a kinesis pedal. What can I say? Now I can get tendonitis in my feet as well. It works. It's hardware-programmable so you can use it on different computers (I got a USB model) with no software. Can map 3 mouse buttons to it, middle button is B4 if anyone wants to try .

The design requires you to lift your foot up to let go of a pedal, wich is unnatural. You need a footrest like a rolled towel so your foot rotates rather than lifts from the heel up. One advantage is that a pedal is MUCH easier to "press-and-HOLD" cause your foot is normally pressing on the floor.

It's rather small and normally serves as modifier-keys replacement.

the glove works pretty well, just feels awkward for first person shooters. I love to fire up a good game of Return to Castlewolfenstein after a long day at work and blow some mother truckers away. ;o)

Interesting about the pedals, although i don't think i could model very well with my feet. ;o)

It works pretty good but to be honest with you it is rather awkward. I went to Walmart recently and got one of those gel pads that you use to elevate your wrist for 4 or 5 bucks and it works great. Go figure!
