probably, see maya is not designed to work on general hardware. You need to select the computer hardware with maya in mind.
Anyway the amount of memory your card has is totally inconsequential it means mostly nothing. What chipset is it is the real question. The memory amount is mostly a sales trick to make a easy number that people think is important.
Try a different driver version. Tough most cheap built in cards will newer make it.
