Hello. When I snap an object to the vertice of another object it always seems to align that object's Center/pivot to the vertice. Is there a way to change this so I can align one object by its vertice to that of another object's vertice??

For example. I created a polygonal square with four vertices. I call this object the "floor". I then clone it and rotate it 90 degrees to make it a "wall". Since the "wall" polygon is still in the center of the "floor" polygon I want to move it to the "floor's" edge so the 2 vertices of each object are aligned.

When I turn on my snaps and use their "point" mode to move the "wall" to the "floor's" edge, it moves it based on my "wall's" center thus the two edges arent lining up

does this make ANY sense??

I basically want to snap the "wall" from ITS bottom vertice(s) to the vertices of the "floor"

Yes you can do that, but you are absolutely right: only centers snap on vertices. So the solution is to move the center on a vertex. Select the vertex and do MCP \> Transform \> Move Center to Vertices.

Then perform the snap. You'll have to replace the center afterward.

Hope this helps
