It's hard to help unless you mention exactly what you need.

We added the ability to read and write the OpenEXR format with the 4.01 version of Fusion. You should have no problem opening and saving OpenEXR files.

Be aware that Fusion does not currently load Z-Buffer or other auxillary chanel data from OpenEXR files.

HI izaac
i was expecting a reply from u at pigsfly....
anyways ,i have a shot that needs some rigremoval and paint stuff im using a cineon log tool against the loader which reads name##.exr files my question is that , when i load them they appear darker like how cineon files do,and there is no option for bypassing log etc.... is it correct to use cineon log tool for that. Also if i add or manipulate grains or do a bit of cc to some parts of the image secquence will it be a problem ...........i have to output again as name##.exr.

Hello

I have never heard of an OpenEXR image that contained Log format color data. I doubt that is the problem, though I suppose its possible.

Much liklier that the images are linear, and do not have a 2.2 gamma applied. Try adding a bit of gamma and see if that makes the difference.

Without seeing the images it is difficult to be more specific. As I mentioned in my pigsfly response, if you can mail me a few sample frames that will make a huge difference.
