# Output window (2)

Hello

I cannot seem to find this for diagnosing my mental Ray output.

Someone said its the console window? - But i do not see any info in this window.

I have export progress messages turned on.

Console window from Applications/ seems to now be giving me the info Im after.

But only for a batch render.

Would anyone know how to set it for the current frame render?&nbsp;

The setting is in 2 places! Under [rendering] -\> render -\> batch render -\> [optionbox] For batch render AND separately for the single frame render under [rendering] -\> render -\> render current frame -\> [optionbox] for current frame renders.

Setting the other setting helps not the other.

thanks for the reply. Yes I spotted that, but alas nothing happening for the current frame.

well there have been probems like this in the mac.
