Should work fine, you should SoftQuadro it.

Recently bought this same card,
i've seen no problems with maya,
but make sure you dont run it on an agp 2x board(the card is agp4x), I tried that, and it destroyed my motherboard. I had to buy a new one, with an agp 4x slot.

Seems to be working fine now though.

...? most 4x cards are actually 2x/4x, so shouldn't they be able to run in both modes...? i have a 1x/2x mboard, and am hoping to buy a 2x/4x card soon.

Thanx for pointing that out. i opened it up to take a look at the board for a agp4x after a few minutes of lookin around i couldn't find it so i resorted to my manual of my computer board layout. Not only don't i hav a agp4x , but i don't even hav a agp socket! Its a pci video socket, an not many companys make video cards for pci. lucky i didn't go buy it , it'll save me time from buying it than returning it again!

I recently built machine with this card couldnt get soft quadro to work unstable as quadro pro or mx so running 27.-- drivers really fast in 3d test 37fps without quadro so dont be afraid it is a really cheap and very quick card running on a msi k266a pro raid board xp1700
