Well I mentioned some problems in one of my previous posts, but all of that was taken care of when I installed the unofficial drivers from MaxReboot (like vertex weight shading, etc). But once I installed the new driver, something else showed up, and it's VERY noticeable - the Lambert shading goes crazy sometimes. Here's what I mean: I create a NURBS sphere, and make it a simple blue color ... if I create another simple object, and change it to a different color - say red - my first object turns red too. And sometimes just rotating the camera around those objects will make them appear different colors. Also, it's too bright sometimes ... like if I open up a skinned skeleton, almost the entire thing appears as a highlight, with only the very edges showing some halftone and form shadow - with hardware texturing or not. The only word I can think of to explain it is "whack" ; ) (it only happends sometimes though, so it might be my system) But other than that it's comfortable to model with ... i don't notice any delays in frame rate, even on high polygon models. I'm not gonna say it's the greatest card, but for me it was worth every penny (only cost me 200 bucks ...)
