Rain Running Along A Surface

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone can help. I would like to try and simulate rain falling onto some surfaces (a roof of a building) and showing the rain flowing along the surface and gathering into a puddle.

If anyone could help or give me some advice it would be much appreciated.

The solution really depends on the type of effect and the realism required. Blobby particles driven by expressions on the goal uPP and vPP work well. It may involve more than one emitter (one for drops another to generate a puddle for example).
