Stop Motion Effect Script Help

Hello,

Let me just start off by saying how much I appreciate this website. I just had a quick Maya question and couldn't see anything related to it in any of the forums, so I thought I might try this forum:

I'm looking at creating a short animated piece in Maya, and I wanted to try the get the old stop motion feel to it. I've tried everything to automate it, but nothing seems to get the right look. I just saw a script done in AE at: http://qubahq.com/2011/06/stop-motion-kit/ that looks exactly what I am looking for.

My question is: is it possible/do you know how to take that AE script and put it in Maya's MEL to make it work?

Well you can do this, however it really starts off with you defining for yourself what makes stopmotion look like stopmotion. When you move to 3d thinsg change a bit yousee.

But yes jittering frames is easy.
