it has been asked before but not really fully answered I dont think,
I need to sample a texture that is constructed from various projection nodes and use this information in a variety of ways for driving expressions for particle emissions etc.
The solidTexSampler looks ideal for this purpose but im using 8.5 and cant find a compiled version.
or..... something like colorAtPoint that could somehow interpret some user specified range of world coords as uvs instead of object Uvs. I dont really need a 3d dimensional sample as all the projections are in an xy plane.
anyone got any ideas?or a version of solidTexSampler for 8.5?
