Hey!

I've got a question, say I have a skeleton under a group node and i duplicate this group node - is there a quick way to select a certain joint in the skeleton under a certain group node without having to use full dag paths...

i.e.

[codebox]
groupA -\>
 jointA -\>
 jointB -\>
 jointC

groupB -\>
 jointA -\>
 jointB -\>
 jointC
[/codebox]

where groupB is a duplicate of groupA...

i would like to select - say jointC under groupB without knowing the full dag path - i.e. something like this

[codebox]
select -r groupB|\*|jointC
[/codebox]

i know this syntax is incorrect but is there a quick way to do this?

or can i only search the hierarchy under the group?

btw this might be a good idea for a custom "select" command...

i.e.

[codebox]
cSelect groupNode|\*|iWantToFindThis
[/codebox]

actually not a bad idea... i guess if i get time later ill write one!

why just las the last part and gmatch all the returns towards your string. or use ls trough filter.
