Shake 4.1 Does Not Work Anymore On Ubuntu 8.04

Hi guys

I know, Ubuntu 8.04 is still beta but it's gonna final in a few weeks, so I was wondering if anybody managed to run Shake 4.1 on it? I've tried latest beta on few systems but it just does not run: Terminal show absolutely nothing, it's empty. I have no idea what to do.

I have exactly the same problem here on the final release of 8.04...what to do ?? oO
