# Slider

Hai good afternoon to all

I am just a starter in mel and i have problems in creating a slider

I want only slider with the name and not the field. so i chose "floatslider". But its executing with out any error but when i vary the slider, none of the action happens, as i specify, i dont know what goes wrong.

the command i written is

window;  
columnLayout;  
floatSlider -hr 0 pSphere1.translateX;  
showWindow;

Can any one help me out. but i didnt want the field option to be displayed.

CODE

floatSlider -hr 0 -cc changeattr;  
showWindow;  
global proc changeattr()  
{  
float $getPs=`getAttr pSphere1.translateX`;  
float $myget=$getPs+1;  
setAttr "pSphere1.tx" $myget;  
}

but now you using floatSlider insted of floatSlider u can use attrFieldSliderGrp

CODE  
window;  
columnLayout;  
attrFieldSliderGrp -min -10.0 -max 10.0 -at pSphere1.tx;  
showWindow;
