Hi,I'm emitting from animated curves for an effect but the fluids look very ugly at first before they start whirling and animating, I was wondering if there is a way of fading them in then out, particle + ramp control style.
Thanks in advance.
in the shading tab of the fluid shape, adjust the opacity (with input as density) so that the fluid is transparent where the density is high (right hand side) and also where density is low (on the left) so it fades away. your curve should (roughly) peak in the middle. the fluid should fade in and out. you may need to play with the input bias, and the amount of density etc.

Honestly I'd render it out seperated and handel that in your post /compositing program.
