my softimage 3d keeps crashing it say fatal error detected soft will die can anyone help me please

You probably want to post this to the Softimage 3D forum, not the XSI forum, then. Unless you mean you have XSI, of course.
Also, it would help if you give a bit more information as to what exactly happens. Just saying 'it crashes with a fatal error' is like saying 'my car doesn't work', in other words it could be anything.
When does it crash, what do you do, what sort of computer is it, what version software, etc.

I use softimage 3d 3.9 on windows nt 4.0 sevice pack 6I have a P2 500mhz processor viperv770 video card.
I will be working on some thing for about 5 minutes from when I started it up then it will say fatal error detected soft will die.Ive tried reinstalling softimage but it still happenes Iv e reinstalling windows nt but still the same problem.could any one help please.
