# Some Help On Selectcontiguousedges Needed

In my script i need to do this :

string $edges[] = `filterExpand -ex 1 -sm 32`;  
SelectContiguousEdges $edges[0];

- but this does not work.

What i need is to use the SelectContiguousEdges command but without selecting an edge first.

Why ?

Because i need the current selection.

Any ideas?

if you select and then apply this script its working fine

CODE  
global proc test\_script()  
{  
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;string $edges[] = `filterExpand -ex 1 -sm 32`;  
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;SelectContiguousEdges $edges[0];   
}  
test\_script;

and i am geting this result also

// Result: pSphere1.e[240:259]

and what you want .. with out select a edge u want to get the result ???

Then i dont think so

Yeah, i need to make a loop without anything selected.

Something like

SelectContiguousEdges $edge;
