Sound clip wont scrub

Trying to do a lip sync and maya and i got a wav file of a short piece of dialog.  I import it into maya, and it works during playback and playblasts, but for some reason I cant hear anything when i try to scrub through it, and I'm pretty sure the file is properly formatted.  Anyone got any clues?

hi, How big is the wav file? Maya has trouble dealing with big wav files. Try using a sound editing software to redure the quality a bit.

How is your frames per second set within maya? You need it in real time (24 frames per second) to get the sound to play.
