Surface Shatter Polygon Help

I can only shatter Nurds surface by using Surface Shatter and not Polygon surface. Is there a way to surface shatter Polygon.
When I try with Surface Shatter with Polygon. I get nothing. But a Result in message gui. I have searched the net and here. Could not find anything:( Any help would be great. Thanks.

Check if you have deleted the Poly's History , it's must before shatter it
