Hi, I have done a brief search of these boards and not found anything, but if it has been addressed just let me know and I'll look harder.
My problem is: is it possible to apply texture-based emission to software rendered particles? ie so that the particles take on a material's colour values in the same way that hardware particles can by using texture based emission?
Or should I be looking at achieving this in post? I specifically need to use blobby particles.

...er, I found this from 'Aaron' - "If you're using software particles, add the ParticleSamplerInfo node in the color swatch of the shader."
I'll give it a crack!
