MEL editor with macOS? jedit and ctags?

Hi...

I was on PC. For my MEL scripting I as using jedit with ctags for showing the procedures. (like inthe tutorial here)
I sitched to mac.... ctags is for PC.

Wich editor can I use to have
- communication with maya (direct sourcing)
- list all procs (and may be variables)

Is there anyway to have ctags on mac with jedit?
Or is there any ohter editing soft who do this?

Its quite easy to make any editor source, esopecially on a computer with a sane commandline shell (like linux, macos and now windows 7)
