Hi, I'm wondering if anyone could suggest the best way for me to exclude a surface from a light.
I've currently got one mesh of a TV, It was suggested that I make it one mesh for deformations that will be applied to it. Inside the TV Im placing a light with FOG on it, which should shine out from the screen area.
I know that if I had the screen as a seperate object I could use light linking to exclude the screen and only include the TV case, then when the box squashed and stretched the lights shape would be altered depending on the size of the screen area.
I hope this makes sense, I've attached an image of the TV. I've already sorted out a way of getting a glow from the TV screen that animates in relation to a movie sequence.
