I am using Maya 5 PLE and I am trying to create a sky using the Sky environment map. I have seen many tutorials called 'How to Create a Realistic Sky with EnvSky' but they all link to the url 'http://www.aliaswavefront.com/en/Community/Learn/how\_tos/rendering/env\_sky/index.html' which no longer appears to have the tutorial. I have tried using a sky texture, but I have not been able to create one large enough, for when I pan up in a scene. Would it be possible for someone to point me in the direction of a tutorial to create a sky with envSky where both clouds and a sun is visible, or give me instructions of how I can create it,

Thanks in advance,

IP

If I recall correctly you need to create an image plane for your camera and assign the EnvSky to it
