I am consider purchasing XSI, my current OS is windows XP, i tried installing Windows 2000 but it was disallowed due to XP being a more up to date os. Can anyone tell me if XSI will run on XP? If so is there anything in particular I need to do. Eg - download a driver, patch or dll?
it behaves the same on XP than on 2000
I had problems with XSI becouse of Detonator XP video drivers (polygon edges looked weird), that's why I still use old Win2000 drivers (I've got LeadTek WinFast GF2Pro card) also there was a problem with mouse drivers (middle button didn't work in XSI).

I have the same problem too, the edges of the polygons in XSI on XP are jaggy, but i stuck with the same Nvidia XP drivers and got use to the jaggy edges.
Perhaps the OpenGL 1.3 version faker will fix your problem.http://www.highend3d.com/xsi/tools/?section=NT#1422http://www.highend3d.com/xsi/tools/?section=NT#1422
